New eps of Breaking Bad and True Blood are out..

I know they were out since yesterday in the USA, but today here. I watched them, pretty mediocre for Breaking Bad and an interesting episode for True Blood. I liked how Walter talked to Skyler, oh man he just owned her ambitions, he put her into place, the king's wife place. Bryan Cranston, ladies and gentlemen, just pure genius in my opinion. A top notch performance.

Finished Prototype 2.

And I'm disappointed. Mercer is super easy, I managed to beat him taking no damage at all. Super-simple patterns and where did his powers get? Like the armor or the muscle mass? Why are the powers cut in the second game, why are the combos cut, why no new powers, it just blows my mind how they downgraded an awesome game. The story began good, but finished awful. James Heller seemed to me like a feeble minded person, getting flipped by everyone relying only on his brute power. How he grew stronger than Mercer is another thing. This game is just a disappointing experience, not that's bad, but it doesn't do justice to the first one. Characters are undeveloped, gameplay is downgraded from the first one, a few enemies, looks like they put more care to the zombies on the street, rather than the stronger infected and evolved. Even some of the old superpowers attacks aren't in. Like the hammerfist throw. AI is as stupid as in the first game. I don't know, it was a bad experience for me, I hope if they make a third one it'll be at least as good as the first one and a worthfull successor.

It's Saturday!!!!!

I know it's not much, but it's the end of the week for me, actually I've slept till now, it's 8:00 p.m. here and I got in bed like in 4. So guess what, now I'm going to the pub and drinking some rakia with my friends, gonna eat some salads and meat and after that ice cream, I'm gonna stay all night playing Prototype 2 after I get home from the pub and tomorrow I'm gonna rest and prepare for Monday.

Look at this guy, I feel the same!

No new dota update today.

Oh, Valve, why did you do it again, seriously? Why didn't you add a new hero today, why are you making us so miserable? All we want is at least one hero a week, why don't you give them to us. WHY? Sigh...

It's friday!!!

Unfortunately I will work tomorrow too. I'm sad, I need to get to sleep early, can't go to a pub tonight. Life is cruel sometimes, oh well.

Prototype update. - WARNING SPOILER

After playing a bit I got to the point in the story where sides were fully discovered and I just don't like the way my character is against Alex Mercer. I really like the Alex Mercer persona and don't like playing against him. Also the thing is why are all the evolved with blades only, I mean James didn't start with blades, why do they, and why are they all with blades, Mercer didn't start with blades too. Also I got to the red zone and I don't like it. It's forcefully repetitive by spawning brawlers near you, and they follow you even on the tops of the skyscrapers. To tell you the truth, tough, I still love the game and will continue to play it, at least until I finish it.

True Blood

It started nice, the first two seasons were awesome and interesting, the nudity and sex were a bit too much, but ok. Then it became mediocre, but still watchable. After the witches came I stopped watching it for a bit, then continued. It's like vampires, but a little more womanly. Vampires aren't as scary and dark, but still nice. Too much monsters are included in my opinion, they got over what they intended and it got mediocre.

Melons.

After the previous post it's normal to post about those too. Tell you the truth I love them as much as watermelons and eat them a lot too, well at least during the summer. I actually just ate a plate of melon and a plate of watermelon. The picture shows the type of melons I believe are the best - the honeydew. Sweet with a note of sour, I love them.

Watermelons.

We love watermelons here in Bulgaria. We eat them almost everyday of the summer. Cold and sweet, oh man, I just ate some. It refreshes your body with it's coldness and sweetness and it tastes godly. Watermelons are awesome. People here drink a lot, and not some cheap ass beer, but hard alcohol, mostly Rakia - the balkans godly essence. It originally came from Bulgaria, or at least I believe so. But the problem is watermelons are one of the fruits who can't become rakia, so instead people inject watermelons with Mastika to make them alcoholic, oh man those old people are crazy.

Prototype 2

I'm not gonna spoil this one, a friend lend me to play it. It's nice, graphics are superior to the first. Gameplay tough is not, which is strange. Stealth is a little bit upgraded. I haven't got to the end. The story is interesting at least for me. But the gameplay remains the same. Here's a screen for you.

It's Monday. I hate this day.

Monday - the worst day of the week. It's both the end of the weekend and the start of the week. How is that even possible? What were they thinking when they made that day. It should be called Worstday, not Monday. Anyway a start of the weak. To of the shows I'm watching are released here in Bulgaria. Breaking Bad and True Blood. I already made a post bout Breaking Bad, but I think it deserves at least a thousand more posts. This show is just plain awesome. True Blood on the other hand is just mediocre now, after the second season, but still worth watching, I might write about it too.

You know what's bs?

Only after I watched all of the avgn episodes I found out his real name - James Rolfe. A nice and cunning guy. Then I found out that there are several series he is making and one of them is: "You know what's bs?"
So a new ep came out today.

Saturday, July 28, 2012

Saturday at last.

I work Saturdays too, but like till launch. I finished today and oh man, is it sweet. A bit of relaxing for the weekend. Also, Monday, I hate you, worst day ever.

Thursday, July 26, 2012

We were given helmets.

Finally, we were given helmets, but to tell you the truth, they are bad, I mean they are ok, just normal helmets, but with our hot weather here in Bulgaria, I think my head is boiling inside that helmet. By the way, they look like that: see below

Second day at work.

And I'm exhausted, this job, oh man, is it hard. My hands, back and feet are burning, but I think I'll manage anyway. I mean after a week I'll be okay.

Views over 9000.

this pic is has nothing to do with the
topic of this post, I just found it on
Google Images by searching for:
"over 9000"

Thanks guys, I know this dbz thing is getting old, but I still find it funny, trololo guy and rick roll too. And nyan cat. Anyway, thank you guys, mostly my Bulgarian friends from the forums, cause mostly they are my main audience, but also a few people from blogs I follow, my favorite is The Hiat, I mean this guy is amazing, he doesn't just collect photos of old buildings, he does some of them himself. And, oh boy, are there many ex-soviet countries which have like a ton of those buildings and every building is stranger than the last one. It's awesome, I suggest you check it, seriously.

Started a job again.

Oh, man I started as a construction worker after three months of laziness. And is it hard? Yes. It's exhausting, but also it's good training and the money are actually bad, but whatever it's for a month, cause September I got a university to attend to and exams. I have actually worked this job before and before that. Like 4 times for about 3 months in the summer when I was in high school. I can't say I'm used to it, but it's a start. I look like the man on the picture, just without a helmet, vest, equipment(cause it's like two storeys high), I only have gloves cause this was an abandoned building and is full of garbage and other garbage and disgusting garbage, but whatever. If I get a camera on my hands maybe I'll do a pic of the building.

Inception..

One of the best movies I've watched. It's original for the years it was made, it's good as in screenplay, actors play, dialogue, action, fx, sound, story, everything. I even liked the explanation of things, it isn't like in some movies where they do some things and never explain them. I'm not gonna spoil it, but everybody should watch it if they haven't already.

I owned with Mortred.

This one was a turtling frenzy. I mean against those heroes I needed to feed, not much choice really.

Breaking Bad

I've recently started watching this TV series, I'm on season 4 currently and I really like it. A gang thriller drama with some comedy moments. It's an unique combination. The main character to which the story spins around is a chemistry teacher, and after he received the diagnosis of cancer he wanted to get into drugs, into making crystal meth. He saw his ex-student was involved in this so they started as partners. The master "chef" and the apprentice "cook". The series is serious, it's no joke, murders and drama all the way. Even the main character's son has cerebral paralysis.
Let's talk about the main character's actor. Bryan Cranston, he's actually the main producer of the series. A genius imo. The story is a little bit slow for my preference but perfect nonetheless. Also I'm a Malcolm in the Middle fanatic, so I like this guy, I's a little hard for me to see him properly for the role. He's just this comedian in my eyes. Anyway, if you haven't watched it already, please do, it's awesome.

Slithice the Naga Siren is out.

Today is her release day. I used to love that hero, but when her skills got changed I stopped playing her at all. I might try her today, we'll see. She is strong tough, very strong. Pre and post changes.

OUYA

I'm not into consoles much, cause like I don't have the money for their games, but this looks nice. Sounds to me like a mobile app player. I don't know if it will support large titles, but only time will show.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ouya/ouya-a-new-kind-of-video-game-console check it here.

Another ownage with Lanaya.

I'm sorry I was off guys, but I had some personal stuff to do with the university. Anyway I'm posting this picture, it's a bit old from a few days ago, haven't played since then, but I totally destroyed them again. Lanaya is just awesome.

Family feud.

I can't watch the show, cause I live in Europe, but I love their channel. Look at this clip, it's hilarious, the host really makes me laugh with his faces.

Friday, July 13, 2012

Just played Lanaya.

I can't say I owned them, cause my stat isn't that fine, but I also joked with the item build a little, I was sure it was a victory. I think tough that without me my team wouldn't have succeeded. A talisman and meld just destroys enemy heroes, I mean at one point a talisman, meld, refraction and one hit was a kill.

Lanaya is out today. Dota2.

One of my favorite heroes is out today and after writing this post I'm gonna play the hell outta her. A silent assassin that has an arsenal of spells. Pretty hard to play for newbies, and generally can't handle teamfights well. She's a monster in 1v1, and can kill most heroes due to her 5 dmg source blocks. The bonus damage and meld -armor comes in handy with a medallion or deso or cuirass. She needs no damage, just -armor. She is mediocre late game, but if you can play her, a total armageddon early to mid game.

Browsers, which browser is the best.

I personally use Chrome mainly, but I used to use Firefox too and for a long time. I dislike IE and never used neither Opera nor Safari. IE has always been the shitty browser and I started using chrome due to it being fast and light compared to what Firefox has become. I literally have had a memory usage of 600MB for a single window on Firefox. Never had problems with Chrome, it's fast. At the start I missed some functions like addons and stuff, also there are some that are missing right now, but addons are in and for the other I don't care anyway.

Far Cry 2

During the weekend I had no net, so I played Far Cry 2. I used a cheat to give myself diamonds and gradually unlocked all weapons. It's a fun game, but the stealth factor isn't well made and the AI is disturbingly stupid and glitchy at moments. Still if you have a sniper and are a kilometer away from the npc's you can knock them off dead without them noticing.

It's not the best game, that said I'll point its good and bad qualities. First the bad. It's repetitive and boring at times. Missions are not fun, driving thousands of kilometers around the big map isn't fun, collecting diamonds for this single upgrade that isn't worth it isn't fun, the AI isn't fun and the story is mediocre, but there are also the good stuff like the sandbox - this one is enough to balance the scale. If you manage to immerse yourself into the sandbox, oh man is it fun. Stalking patrols, sniping camps, killing animals, driving with the buggy, trying to climb cliffs, which are unclimbable, exploiting stuff, this is the fun part. Doing a few missions on the way, completing the story slowly. You should not play this game continually, it gets boring. Try an hour everyday and it will be more awesome and playable.

2 days with no net.

I didn't pay my internet this month so I was without internet for two days. It's not that bad, seriously. I watched some tv in the meantime, saw a nice movie starring Jason Statham - Cellular. It's nice.

Day of Defeat: Source

Look at the ally guy, he placed the granade on his rifle
and he's gonna shoot it across the map in your face.

Literally dod on the source engine. In the gameplay section it's the same, graphics are better and there are a lot of improvements. The improvements though just change the gameplay a bit, and I prefer dod over dod:s, the prob is there are no dod players anymore, the game is dead. There are servers, but mostly filled with bots. DoD:S on the other hand has a handful of players right now, and these days I started playing again. There are new things such as the granadier classes actually shoot granades with their rifles over a long range. And there are iron sights, instead of bayonet poking like in dod. Other than that the action is back. Most servers are a snipe/granade/campers fest mostly, but it's normal, this new generation of players are used to cod and other games, in which the killstreak is by far the most important, and not the skill. I don't mind different classes, but when there are 8 snipers from a 16 player team, the other 4 are with bazookas and the other 4 are machine gunners, it's stupid. Players forget that they have objectives and care only for the killstreak. Which is stupid imo, but anyway. It's still a nice game, play it, buy it, I have it on steam, it's awesome, awesome action and graphics. And a high skill-cap which I require from a multiplayer game.

Day of Defeat

A masterpiece in the genre. I remember buying HL:Anthology in 2006 and it brought me all of the gold src games: CS, HL, Blue Shift, OF, Ricochet, DM: Classic, TFC and of course Day of Defeat, shortly dod. I bought it for CS, but I played the other games as well. I've already played the HL games, when I was a little kid in the internet cafe near my home, but this one I've never had a glimpse of it. And man when I started was it the balls. Pure action oriented, high skill-cap, fast-paced cs-style gameplay ww2 action. Better than bf1942, better than cod1 and its expansions, cod2 and all cods. It blew my mind on so many levels. Getting the kar running on dod_avalanche and destroying them all. Fast paced CTF and objective style gameplay, with a lot of shooting and different classes. Nades were awesome and strong, no regen mechanics. Pure skill-based from the shooting, to the running, to the camping. There are camping classes - the sniper and machinegunner. There are a handful of weapons with all classes. Even a bazooka. In a game like this explosions are strong, cause the maps are small, but oh man is it awesome.

This picture will forever be embedded into my mind. Holding the kar playing as the axis. Do note of course I don't particularly the axis or the allys. I don't like war, I just love ww2 games. WW2 shooter games are one of the best. Kar98k is my favorite rifle by far. In this game it's like the sniper in CS. It's a high risk, high reward rifle. It does by far the most damage output from the rifles and automatic guns, but has a drawback, it's bolt action. There is a reload between shots, and if you miss the first shot, that's when the opponent can kill you, and that's why I love it. I once did an 8 kill streak with the kar. Anyway, it's a great game, the wall of text is enough to say it. Try it if you can, but better buy DOD:S, I'll explain why in my next post.

Pulp fiction.

One of my favorite movies. It's a nice gang story created by my favorite director Tarantino. A lot of famous names in it, and it's overall a nice story. I like gang movies, but Pulp Fiction is another case. I like how to story progresses, the timeline is messed up, while I don't like it much in his another movies, I love it in this one. There's a lot of everything and it's a beautiful composition deserving the title of classic. If you haven't watched it, do it

The Higgs boson particle found.

Good job, scientists, CERN and other parties. Now I'm only a little interested in the LHC, but this discovery was well thought and calculated, it just needed time. I'm all in for science, but to tell you the truth, I don't like theoretical science at all. Discoveries which cannot be integrated into human life are meaningless to me. It's nice and all to find new things, new particles, expand the periodic table and understand  but their use is none to us. Look at electricity for example. By all means the greatest discovery in human history. And it's used everywhere. Literally everywhere. I know there are several inventions based on quantum mechanics findings, but they are just partially based on those findings. I know I'm talking way outta my league here, but still. Anyway I don't think in this current state the world needs more scientific discoveries, especially when they cost so much, but that's only me.

Added a counter on the right bar.

I think it's a nice addition to every blog. Woah, I've a thousand views already. Thanks!

Hosting services, are they ok?

Me and couple of my friends want to host a realm of Mu online or Diablo II. And are wonder if we should host it locally on our pcs, or hire a hosting service. I mean we can spend like 30 € a month, cause we are like 30 people or so. And I think hosting to one person's pc will cost more electricity and bandwidth.
The thing is we wanted a Bulgarian hosting service, hosted in Bulgaria of course, cause our local connection is 20Mbit/s, so we found a hosting service that's cheap and I believe reliable. There are two choices I believe we should choose from.

The first is a web hosting.

  • 100 gb's of hdd space.
  • Unlimited traffic.
  • This sounds so great, cause it's like 10 € a month.
  • But it is a web server, and I'm not sure if the server machine could handle a game server.

The other option is VPS hosting.

  • 512mb ram.
  • 1tb of monthly traffic.
  • Quad-core processor.
  • And full control over the machine, whatever that means.
  • It costs like 18 € per month.

So I'm not sure if we should host it locally, or rent a hosting service. Maybe I should talk to a friend of mine, who understands this better, he has experience with it. bb ;0

My friend's game.

This is my friend's play, on his birthday, happy b-day, man.

He said it was a prolonged game as well. It was hard, but rewarding. I love long dota games, well not as long as this one, but still around 40-50 minutes is great, because there are turnbacks, many teamfights, ganking, roshaning, comebacks.

Another day, another screen. ;)

Oh, man this game was exhausting, srsly.

A one hour game, but we managed to win. It was hard, we needed to turtle, in order to get fed, in order to overpower them. Also I must say that Void is a weak hero now. Doesn't matter how much he farms, there are a lot of other heroes, who are better. His long cd blink, evasion and stun are useless now, and his sphere works for not more than one hero.

Source Film Maker

Valve unleashed a powerful editor.

My personal opinion is that it will revolutionize machinimas. It will bring fan movies to the next step. It's potential is as high as the sky.

Spectre ownage, lol.

Totally destroyed them the other day. Thanks to the team of course, nice play from my team, especially CM, best cm ever, so supportive.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic

One of the most AWESOME games I played. It compares to Skyrim, though it's linear, rather than open-world. It's on the source engine, so that means a lot to me. The combat is awesome. The graphics are awesome, the level design is too. The music, the voices, the characters, the story, it's all beyond awesome. You should definitely try it. Too bad it doesn't have a sequel, but the studio that developed it has been taken by Bethesda's parent company, so I could imagine they had a hand in Skyrim and other games.

A cool mod for HL2.

HL2 is my favorite game of all time. No doubt at all, I'm a maniac about HL2. I've been playing Valve games  for years. HL mods, Source mods, everything. Just recently we started playing this mod with a friend. It's like sven coop but for the source engine. It's coop missions, that's all. But there are those fun maps in it, that just blow my mind on so many levels. In this particular, you fish, yeah that's right, you fish. Fishing in HL2 - AWESOME. Anyway you can pull out every single npc or object in the game. It's totally awesome. I pulled a hunter, a stalker, a helicopter, a gunship, one of the monsters of the original half-life. This gaming session I laughed my ass out, seriously. Here's a screen where I put an alyx statue on his head. He's using the G. Freeman model btw.

Another dota pic.

Well I owned them with husk, nice game. Anyway, huskar is a beast, nuff said.

Also I got 20 points for this game, wtf Valve, seriously?

Minecraft Elevator

Hi, guys, today I made an elevator in Minecraft, it's the real thing tough, thanks to the mod Ugocraft. I also made a video about it.

I really hope you like it, write under the video if you want a download.

Sands of the Coliseum.

I usually play a lot of flash games, and mainly on Kongregate. This one is awesome. It's simple yet addictive, it's not very balanced, but you could easily lose a couple hours playing it. It's a turn-based rpg with blood. You upgrade your gladiators via items, spells/talents and stats. It really could be a good game, even a full release game with graphics and such, you should check it out.

The combat system is a little unusual, but I like it, instead of taking health points from the given character you take health points from a given limb of his. For example I could attack only his leg and cut it out eventually, yes it's little gory.

But, that's why I like it. You should try it too:
A link to the game!

CS:GO First impressions.

Played some cs:go today, yes I've access to the beta. It's really nice to be honest. But my expectations are low for this one. I mean no competitive scene will be dragged away from cs 1.6. Maybe it will create it's own competitive scene, but it won't drag the 1.6 players. About the gameplay, it's not as clean as 1.6, but not as retarded as source too. It's somewhere between the two. Feels like cs 1.6 with source graphics, but not finished properly. There still is sliding physics and other shit, tough the aiming is near the 1.6, less recoil of course it's made for consoles too. Anyway it has 2 types of gameplay by default - 5v5 teambattle and gungame(called arms race or something). It has custom servers too, but most of them are empty. It's not bad, it's just cs - the new generation. It's like source was to 1.6. It's not an upgrade, but a different game. Played two maps, not too shabby, but not too good either, well I haven't played 1.6 in like 2 years, so judge me, I don't care!

This is the gungame. This guy vito totally owned us, but I was 5 kills
away from taking the lead.

This is the classic 5v5, I took the screenshot as soon as ppl
started leaving.

Today's dota pic.

I played some dota today, a nice game, had its turnarounds. I'm not owning, but I can say it's average.

I'm the DK as you can see(pointed by the big red arrow if you can't see, or have mental problems). Average stats, not bad. The morph was playing a lil' strange and I know my build, well not that it sucks, but it's inappropriate. Storm was bad. frk4[ is a real life buddy, well one of my best friends, we both love dota and have been playing for like years, dota is awesome, nuff said. We're not into teams tough, we're like what you can call pub stars, or pub vets or something. Garena had pretty nice pubs tough, made only of known members. You know, members you know can play, and no noobs.

Dota 2 - simply the best... well, almost.

The beast by valve. The one true successor of dota. It's awesome, that's it, it's just awesome. Way better than dota1, but still unfinished. The graphics are awesome, the heroes on the other hand I don't like many of them, the concepts I mean, they should've been better.  But anyway, the gameplay succeeds to bring dota1 gameplay on a new platform and engine, with more features that only add(don't change) to the experience. Like the bottle click, the reconnect, matchmaking, shop, courier and many more. Only today did I decide to play after a 3 month break, because of lag and plain retarded players. Anyway I liked it today, the added a new hero the Ogre Magi, one of my favorites. I played flawlessly, as in no lag no fps drops and stuff like that, when at some time it happened. A huge fps drop and lag, even the sound lagged. I disconnected reconnected and it was over. Played two games, four times it did this for two dotas. I'm dissapointed valve, fix the damn thing. Anyway, I love it, nuff said.

Diablo 3, the abomination of today's gaming.

Okay, for my first legit post I won't introduce myself, or who I am or stuff, I'll talk about one of the most anticipated games this year, Diablo III.

Diablo III, the name itself brings mixed feelings to a gamer's soul. Is it good, is it awesome, or is it epic. Well my personal opinion is that it's none of the above. As a long time Diablo II player ( I still played on private realms, that long, yeah). I despise the abomination blizzard created this time. Bad gameplay mechanics include cd skills, hp orbs, no mana, cd pots, blacksmithing, gold and other. But the worst of all is the RMAH. You know what this abbreviation means, I won't go into details. It's just bad. The idea is awesome, but in this age, with our greediness, it won't work properly. I'm pretty sure the problem is, blizzard can inject their own items into the rmah and underprice the normal players, earning big sums of cash. Oh and no singleplayer? Srsly guys? Srsly? SERIOUSLY? Piracy issues? SERIOUSLY? Nuff said, blizzard isn't the same, they are money hungry demons now and they don't deserve you buying their games. That's my opinion at least.

The start of the Bird!

Hi, guys, whoever is reading this, think maybe only my friends will, anyway. A friend of mine told me blogging was fun, so I decided to try it for a week, let's see how it goes.
