Day of Defeat: Source

Look at the ally guy, he placed the granade on his rifle
and he's gonna shoot it across the map in your face.

Literally dod on the source engine. In the gameplay section it's the same, graphics are better and there are a lot of improvements. The improvements though just change the gameplay a bit, and I prefer dod over dod:s, the prob is there are no dod players anymore, the game is dead. There are servers, but mostly filled with bots. DoD:S on the other hand has a handful of players right now, and these days I started playing again. There are new things such as the granadier classes actually shoot granades with their rifles over a long range. And there are iron sights, instead of bayonet poking like in dod. Other than that the action is back. Most servers are a snipe/granade/campers fest mostly, but it's normal, this new generation of players are used to cod and other games, in which the killstreak is by far the most important, and not the skill. I don't mind different classes, but when there are 8 snipers from a 16 player team, the other 4 are with bazookas and the other 4 are machine gunners, it's stupid. Players forget that they have objectives and care only for the killstreak. Which is stupid imo, but anyway. It's still a nice game, play it, buy it, I have it on steam, it's awesome, awesome action and graphics. And a high skill-cap which I require from a multiplayer game.
